Ever since I was about twelve, I have had a passion for film and acting.  I have always loved horror films, since long before I was actually allowed to watch them, and `When Evil Reigns' has allowed me to fulfill a number of dreams.  Not only have I been the male lead in a horror film but, along with my brother, I have written and directed the film.  And I have realized another long-term passion; SFX makeup.
Originally we had somebody who said they would do the special effects, and she was so good that, initially, her pulling out because of time constraints looked like it might sink the film altogther.  Then, when we took quite a considerable break from filming, during which we recast many of the roles and ironed out problem with the equipment, I bought a bottle of latex and started practicing special effects on my own.
Pretty soon, I had quite a formidable library of scars and cuts that I could show Luke to prove that I could do the makeup.  He said okay, and it's now another area that I am pursuing.
